Author Description

三岛由纪夫（Yukio Mishima），本名平冈公威，出生于日本东京一个官僚家庭。日本战后文学大师，也是著作被翻译成英语等外语版本最多的日本当代作家，曾两度获诺贝尔文学奖提名，被誉称为“日本的海明威”。

唐月梅，中国社会科学院外国文学研究所《世界文学》编辑部编委，日本早稻田大学、立命馆大学客座研究员，横滨市立大学客座教授，中国社会科学院外国文学研究所研究员。中国作家协会会员。著有《怪异鬼才——三岛由纪夫》。

竺家荣，著名翻译家，原籍浙江镇海。专攻日本近现代文学。曾多次赴日研修。代表译作有渡边淳一《失乐园》，三岛由纪夫《晓寺》，谷崎润一郎《疯癫老人日记》，青山七惠的《一个人的好天气》等。

许金龙，武汉大学外国语言文学系日本语专业毕业。外国文学研究所东方文学研究室编审。研究生院外国文学系教授。历任中国社会科学院《外国文学》日本语文学编辑、日本北海道大学研究员、外国文学研究所东方文学研究室副编审。中国作家协会会员。

《三岛由纪夫文学系列（套装共13册）》：
最近，我开始从心底里感到小说这一客观的艺术类型中有许多难以表现的堆积物，我已经不是二十岁的抒情诗人，首先，我过去压根儿就不是诗人。于是，我发现了一个微妙的暧昧的领域，摸索出了适合于这种表白的形式，即自白与批评的中间形态。也可以说，这就是“隐秘的批评”。
它是介于自白的夜间与批评的白昼之间的交界线--黄昏的领域，如其语源所示。当我说“我”时，这个“我”不是严格地属于我的那个“我”，我发出的所有语言，不能在我体内循环流动，在我的体内只有某种残渣，这种残渣不能有所归属，也不能循环流动，我就把它称为“我”吧。
当我思考那样一个“我”究竟是什么东西的时候，我不得不承认这个“我”实际上完全代表了我所占有的肉体的领域。因为我是在寻觅“肉体”的语言。
我把自我当作房屋时，我的肉体就仿佛成为围绕着这座房屋的果园。我既可以精心地耕耘这片果园，也可以置之不顾，让野草任意丛生。这是我的自由。不过，这种自由是一种不那么容易理解的自由，原因在于许多人都把自家的庭院称为“宿命”。
心血来潮，我就开始拼命地耕耘这片果园，为我所用的就是太阳与铁。取之不尽的阳光和铁锄锹，就成了我耕耘中最宝贵的两个要素。于是，随着果树逐渐结起果实来，肉体这种东西就占据了我大部分的思考空间。
当然，这个过程不是人一朝一夕就能完成的。而且，倘若没有重要的契机，也是不可能开始的。
我仔细地反复思考我的幼年时代，我的语言的记忆远比肉体的记忆深刻。对于普通人来说，可能是肉体先到，语言后来，可是，对于我来说，则是语言先到，过了很久，肉体才带着极其不乐意的神色姗姗来迟。这时，肉体已经形成一副观念性的姿态。不消说，这副肉体早已被语言所腐蚀了。
先有白圆木柱子，白蚁才会来蛀蚀。然而，我的情况则是先有白蚁，以后才慢慢地出现一半被虫蛀蚀了的白圆木。
但愿读者不要责难我把自己的职业--语言，称为白蚁之类。语言艺术的本质，如同蚀刻法中的硝酸一样，是取其腐蚀作用的，我们就是利用语言腐蚀现实这种作用来创作作品的。但是，这种比喻还不正确，蚀刻法中的铜和硝酸都是从自然中抽出来的同等的要素，比起它们来，不能说语言犹如硝酸作用于铜那样作用于现实。因为语言是把现实抽象化并联系着我们的悟性的媒体，它对现实的腐蚀作用，必然就包含着不断腐蚀语言自身的危险。毋宁说，我觉得把这种作用比作过剩的胃液不断消化和腐蚀胃更适当些。
这样的情况早在一个人的幼年时代就已经发生了，这么说，恐怕相信的人也不多吧。
然而，对于我来说，这是发生在我身上的戏剧，它为我准备了我的两个相反的倾向。一个倾向是忠实地推进语言的腐蚀作用，决心把它当作自己的工作；一个倾向是具有这样一种欲望：设法在语言完全不参与的领域里与现实邂逅。
