Content Description

1923年，日本发生关东大地震，中国政府筹集巨额物资赈济日本灾民。一幅彰显天伦之爱的家珍油画《玉娘哺》，被义卖捐助东京震区。自此，南京方家与东京大江家结下渊源。但让他们始料不及的是，十余年后，日本发动了侵华战争。此时，方家小女方琼已成为南京小有名气的画家，人称“金陵画狐”；大江之孙大江秀川则成为出征中国的日军“笔部队”的高级摄影记者；而与方家素有渊源的刘家之子刘寒子则成为一名英勇善战韵国军骑兵营营长。他们在这场旷日特久的中日战争中交锋，将面悔怎样的抉择与挣扎？战争结束之后，他们的人生又将去向何方？余之言所著的《战争画廊》将以23幅画作和战地照片，串联起那段岁月中所有的生死搏击与爱恨情仇，带我们走入那道色彩浓烈、气息逼窒、引人深思的战争画廊。

Author Description

余之言，中国作家协会会员，1988年从事文学创作，曾就读于鲁迅文学院，发表中、短篇小说《送道走》《天乳殇》《卑微英雄》《残缺的海星》《甘陵香》《奉献爱情的另一种方式》等数十篇，著有长篇小说《剑走偏锋》（作家出版社）《影子战士》（解放军文艺出版社），其两部长篇小说正由中央电视台中国国际电视总公司中视影视等公司拍摄电视剧。

《战争画廊》：
一个十岁大的男孩，实在记不得在母亲怀抱里吃奶时的那副馋相，可当他**次见到这幅油画时，心里却莫名其妙地生出了一股饥饿感。“真想扑上去吃一口。”都半大不小的孩子了还想吃奶，尤其是想吃油画里女人的奶，说出去会让人笑掉大牙的。那当口，他仰脸看着那幅油画，分明是嗅到了乳汁的香甜味道，止不住流出了口水。他以孩童的标准，在心里暗暗地叫了一声：“这画真好！”他知道，自己说这画好是因为上面的乳房和乳汁好。
刘寒子的父亲刘大为也说这幅画真好。刘大为说这画好时，总是平淡如水的那么一句话：“这画耐看，画风蛮老到的。”话虽平淡，油画在他心里的分量却极重。油画挂在了书房的显要位置，被他视为珍品，谁也碰不得。
刘大为的妻子刘王氏对这幅画的态度截然相反，真真把画当成了洪水猛兽。她的攻击是从画的价格上开始的。“花二十万块钱买来一张烂布，不划算哪，吃大亏了。精明一世，糊涂一时，上大当了呀。”刘大为还是那句话，这次只多说了一个字：“这画耐看，画风蛮老到的。值！”刘王氏脸上泛起了让人琢磨不透的笑意，话却明明白白的。“哼！什么画风老到？全是假话。这画耐看倒是真，耐看就耐看在那奶子上，这心也分明在那奶子上。”刘大为恨得牙根直疼，愤愤地说：“庸俗至极！龌龊至极！”刘王氏也用狠话解恨：“谁庸俗，谁龌龊，谁肮脏，谁淫秽，谁心里明白！”后来，刘王氏唠叨多了，刘大为就以沉默来应对。一段时日，刘家笼罩着一层灰蒙蒙的雾障。这雾障凝重而肃穆，阴森森的，始终围着那幅油画飘来飘去，让人感到后背老冒凉气儿。
刘大为的不解释、不辩说愈加激怒了刘王氏。她把矛头直指要害处，挑明刘大为本意不是买画而是想买人。“这个女人到底是谁？弄得满宅妖气冲天的。
看我哪天给你扔到秦淮河里去。那里才是这烂货的好去处！”事实上，这幅油画画的是两个女人。严格地说，是一个成熟少妇和一个九个月大的女婴。
等刘寒子又长了几岁，有了一定的鉴赏眼光，才真正发现了这幅油画内在的好。
他先从那女婴别致的笑容里看到了美。九个月大的孩子吃奶，其笑容中已经有了内容。她有思想了，她咿呀学语了。她捧乳吃饱了肚子，仰脸望着母亲，一只小白胖手抓着依然饱满欲滴的乳房想说些啥，可她说不出来，于是，就以满足的笑容和惬意的眼神答谢母亲。她在努力用眼睛说话，和母亲产生了只有母女之间才能体会到的初弱交流。显然，母亲是听懂了女婴无语的心声。然而，有声的，母亲也听懂了，女婴说给母亲的话全随一连串“咯咯吱吱”的笑声散发出来了。母亲的笑眼给予了婴孩夸张而直露的应答。
她笑眼里饱含了一个母亲的全部慈爱和亲情。
油画中母亲的容貌美丽无比。笑眼的美有了从骨子里流露出来的爱意追加，就愈发美得惊人，再加上一双对称的酒窝，就又把这美提高了一大截。这对酒窝可以说是举世无双的。它的形状很精巧，大小深浅自然而然，与饱含爱意的笑眼、与薄而鲜亮的嘴唇、与微露的细牙、与挺秀的鼻子，极度和谐地生存在鸭蛋脸上，构成了一张丰美夺目的面容。再看那女婴，咧嘴溢笑的唇上沾着几滴乳汁，嘴角两旁有两个淡红色的小点儿。多年之后，画上这位母亲透露，她自己也是在不到一岁大的时候，嘴角两侧出现过两个小红点儿。家人以为是发炎长了东西，还用药水涂抹过一阵子呢。长大了才发现这是一对世界上*美的酒窝。
显然，这女婴将来也会是一个长着绝妙酒窝的大美人儿。
多年来，刘寒子喜欢在夜深人静的时候，独自体验与回忆少年时代油画《玉娘哺》给他带来的美好感受。当然，母亲刘王氏对这幅油画的羞辱也时常在他脑海里回荡。刘王氏把这幅双美图与一桩肮脏的奸情联系在了一起。刘王氏所指的奸夫自然是丈夫刘大为，而那个只配扔到秦淮河里的女人便是玉娘了。很显然，玉娘就是油画《玉娘哺》上的主角儿。
到底这幅油画的背后，有着一个怎样肮脏的故事？刘寒子不得而知。他有时想，没准儿反倒是一个感天动地的爱情故事呢。他觉得，美丽绝伦的玉娘只会与美好的爱情有关，而不应该与那些肮脏的东西沾边儿。
就此，刘寒子曾小心地问过父亲刘大为。刘大为却反问他：“寒子呀，你母亲那番话你也信？！”刘寒子无法表态。刘大为又说：“这幅油画是城南一个画家朋友画的，画的是他二十岁的爱妻和怀里的女儿。这画是圣洁的，无论什么人都无权污辱它。
我与这玉娘的关系是清白的。朋友之妻不可欺。我是有身份的人，这个道理我是懂的。”刘寒子还是不想表态。刘大为又问：“你从玉娘眼神里看到了什么？”这个答案在刘寒子心里积存已久。那时他还满嘴的学生腔，张口就来：“是爱。随着圣洁乳汁溢出来的，全是洒向女婴的爱。这种高尚的母女之爱，是人类*纯洁的爱。”
