Author Description

朱岳，1977年生于北京，A型血，射手座。毕业后先做律师，后转行从事编辑。曾出版短篇小说集《蒙着眼睛的旅行者》（新星出版社，2006）、《睡觉大师》（生活·读书·新知三联书店，2011）、《说部之乱》（北京联合出版公司，2015）。爱好哲学，曾发表《哲学随想录》（大概只有朱岳本人能看懂），收入《多元2010分析哲学卷》。
喜欢的作家有：爱伦坡、卡夫卡、博尔赫斯、布朗蒂甘、芥川龙之介、川端康成、三岛由纪夫、古井由吉等。喜欢的哲学家有：维特根斯坦、斯特劳森、克里普克等。不喜欢的作家和哲学家有：不敢说等。

蒙着眼睛的旅行者
1992年春天，我第一次见到费耐。那是在维也纳火车站，当时他用一块藏蓝色布条蒙着双眼，拄着一根全塑料盲人拐杖，这也是我们约好的标志。他正艰难地伫立在涌动的人流中。或许只有我知道，他并不是真的盲人。我走过去握住他的手，对他说出我的名字。他起初有些拘谨，过了一会儿气氛就融洽了。毕竟我们已经通信七年之久。大约在一年前，费耐就向我说明了他的蒙眼旅行计划，他的灵感源自一位无名修道士的书《触觉旅行》。在这本书中，修道士介绍了一些有关“单感官旅行”的基本训练方法，比如在密室中习惯黑暗、在深夜徒步翻越山冈、在家中闭着眼睛生活……然后逐步加大难度，直到可以适应盲人的生活。费耐说，这位伟大的修道士不仅戒除了视觉，还戒除了听觉，而后才开始自己的旅程，在这一点上他无法企及。而在我这样的凡夫俗子看来，费耐的计划已是近乎疯狂的了。起初我不相信他能实施这一计划，直到他开始闭着眼睛给我写信，我才确信他是认真的，现在他真的蒙着眼睛来了，我既惊奇又为他高兴。我提出要陪他在维也纳到处转转，但费耐拒绝了。他说他只是顺路来看看我，虽然仍见不到我的样子，但那并不重要。他用双手在我脸上摸索了一番，并说我的相貌还不错。最后，他送给我一只杯子，让我到家后马上用它喝点东西。我将杯子小心收好后，费耐就转身走开了，他走错了方向，但我并没叫住他，我相信他很快就能找到火车站的出口。回到家里，我想清洗一下那只杯子，然后照吩咐用它喝一杯饮料，但在清洗过程中杯子就消失了。

再版自序
《蒙着眼睛的旅行者》一书所收入的小说写于我28岁之前。我20岁左右的时候，曾有志于写一本哲学书，为此殚精竭虑。但是有一天，我不得不放弃这一打算。于是，当时集中起的脑力就像一支失去目标的大军无处发泄。
也是在这一时期，我结识了一些写小说的朋友，现在看来，他们的写法在我们这样的环境中是注定难以被接受的，但他们的作品和言论却给予我很大启发，加之我上学时就读过博尔赫斯、爱伦·坡、川端康成等人的作品，便写起短篇小说来。起初只是觉得好玩，像一场游戏，多有戏仿、狷狂之处，后来，别人的几句赞许让我渐渐认真起来，竟改变了心智探索的路线。
10年来，我的生活循规蹈矩、波澜不兴，但也发生了一些改变，结了婚，换过几次工作，过去一同写作的伙伴多已分道扬镳，不知下落，而写小说于我一直是一件重要的事。一次，一位文友冷不丁对我说：“你的愿望实现不了，我的愿望也实现不了，咱们这些人的愿望都实现不了。”我听了心里不是滋味，但逐渐也理解了他的意思。
常言道，四十不惑，我觉得，这不是说我们在40岁时便能得到人生的答案，而是说，40岁时人就该与种种疑惑妥协了。如今，我已接近这个与疑惑妥协的年纪，但写作仍抓住疑惑死死不放。这大概也是我内心仅有的可取之处吧。
本书此次再版，要感谢后浪出版公司的朋友们。另外，借此机会，我也想向多年来支持我的读者道谢，感谢你们以一种善意的眼光看待这些不成熟的、多少有些古怪的作品，是你们使我不再是一个孤独、可悲、一无是处的人。
