其实，在都市里生活的饮食男女，有几个不是一边哭笑一边在红尘里打滚？有的时候，我也会从他们身上，看到自己和阿玲的影子……

食物也好，感情也罢都是要自己主动追求才能得到，哪怕有先天缺陷，火候到了，味道自然也就出来了。
油锅渐渐热了，我把准备好的黑芝麻均匀地撒入炒锅，不断翻炒。时间长了就会发现，撒芝麻和翻炒都是有规律可循的，撒得不均匀或者翻动得不及时，芝麻就可能会有的炒糊，有的还有生味。随着炒锅的上下起伏，黝黑饱满的黑芝麻像海浪一样翻滚着，发出沙沙的悦耳声，诱人的香气也逐渐在厨房里蔓延。火候刚刚好的时候，我把炒锅端离火焰，一股脑地全部倒进粗糙的石臼中，就像一股亮闪闪的墨水注入河湾。研磨这些炒好的芝麻是一件很费力气的活儿，我喜欢将石杵沿着一个方向转动，在石与石的摩擦中欣赏其中韵律般的美感。研碎的黑芝麻迸发出更浓郁的芳香，深吸一口，回味悠长。接着，我再把芝麻粉倒进小锅里慢慢熬煮，黏稠的芝麻糊冒出诱人的小气泡。

“嗯，确切地说是只对老板的芝麻糊上瘾，因为这里面有种家的味道。”
“家的味道。你看看，连广告词都出来了，蛋仔，作为演员你得努力啊。”老院长语重心长地对蛋仔说。我想，这也是我不喜欢用搅拌机的原因吧，我喜欢亲手研磨芝麻，然后熬出温暖香甜的芝麻糊，款待喜欢这种味道的人，对食物的认同，也算是对厨师的认同。
“院长，你上次不是说有朋友要把房子租出去吗？那房子还在吗？”良会轻声问着老院长。
“哎呀，这我得问问呢，你要租吗？”
“想先看看，我租的那个地方又要涨价了，一年搬三次家，真受不了！”
“你自己住啊？要不我们合租吧？”蛋仔突然冒出一句。

“嗯？”蛋仔一愣，“那你怎么不回家住呢？”蛋仔疑惑地看着良会。
良会神情有些恍惚：“回家？”良会一副不知所措的样子。
“哈哈，不管怎么样，一定要记得：珍爱生命，远离蛋仔！”老院长连忙打圆场。一席话说得大家都乐了，良会也露出了笑容。

每个做菜的人，心里都会有一个和平饭店。深爱食堂就是我的和平饭店。它和我一起度过静默的时光，潜息在城市洪流的一角，孤独而又满足。在城市里，人流来来往往，每个人都以为自己是故事的主角。但对我来说，万丈红尘，都是过客，除了阿玲。
“深爱食堂”的名字就是阿玲给的。她曾经在笔记本上郑重其事地写下过几个字：如果爱，请深爱。我以为，我跟阿玲能和深爱食堂一起老去，直至像一朵凋谢的花儿，花瓣轻轻垂落，投身于广袤的大地之间。但我猜得中这结尾，却猜不中这开头，没想到最先凋谢的，却是阿玲。
阿玲走了以后，深爱食堂就剩下了我一个人，每天重复着同样的工作，开门、做饭、打烊。日复一日，年复一年。
见惯了这方寸之地上演的离合剧，熟悉了每天都不停歇的悲欢场。如果说，有人的地方就有江湖，那么我也算是一个老江湖了。一个老江湖，一直守着自己的和平饭店，也会有人问我孤独吗？每当这时，我总是会想起阿玲临走之前给我留下的一句话：在这世间，唯有美食和爱不可辜负。
