冯积岐，当代作家，陕西省作家协会副主席、创作组组长。1983年开始发表作品，1994年加入中国作家协会，在《人民文学》、《当代》、《北京文学》、《上海文学》等数十种刊物发表中短篇小说近三百篇（部），作品多次人选各种优秀作品选，曾多次获奖；出版长篇小说《沉默的季节》、《村子》、《逃离》、《敲门》等九部。《沉默的季节》、《村子》、《逃离》曾获九头鸟长篇小说奖、柳青文学奖、陕西省“五个一工程”奖等奖项。

祖母从如山如海的人群中挤到了最前边，她看着受苦的孙锁娃，放声大哭。枪声响过，六十一只瓜皮帽子兴高采烈地飞上了天空。孙锁娃倒地时，朝祖母站的地方蹦了两蹦，才栽下去了。

第二章
她不停地吸溜，身子不由自主地抖动。墙壁四周刚刚粉刷过的泥皮在凄然的哭声中向下落了一片又一片，哭声从窗户里钻出去围绕在窗外那棵大树的枝丫间，仿佛四月里的洋槐花一样一嘟噜一嘟噜的，触目可及。

第三章
哥哥看不见初夏热烈的景致了，不过，他能呼吸到漆黑的太阳，呼吸到漆黑的白天。他将漆黑的太阳贪婪地吸进肺腑，又恋恋不舍地吐出来。他能听见杨树的叶片儿在轻声细语，能听见大地在喘息。

第四章
祖母抬起头来，目光穿过了树冠。从针叶间透出来的乱七八糟的天空仿佛被一把大手随意抓伤的脸庞：指印清晰，伤痕累累。

在毫不动摇的黑夜里，哥哥的目光如同刀锋一般劈开了黑暗，街道上所能目击到的事物都像在磨刀石上打磨了一遍，棱角分明，清清楚楚。失明了的哥哥在夜晚不但用目光能穿透他所目击到的事物，而且能看穿人的内心。

她用桃条把伯父的前身后身织成了网，把后院里的空气织成了网。整个院子整个松陵村被那血淋淋的网网住了。脊背上那血糊糊的网如同四月的阳光一样灿烂而饱满，蓝天被反衬得也有了血色一、天空上斜射下来的似乎不是太阳的光线，而是点点血渍。

Book Abstract

不知什么缘故，祖父没有把祖母带在身边。不过，有一点是明朗的：祖父绝不是因为他对祖母的漂亮毫无办法而放弃了她。作为男人，祖父偶尔还去平凉城里的青楼上混一混。祖父把祖母留在家里，也许是因为家里还有五十多亩土地需要人照顾；也许是因为祖父对祖母已经腻味了。再有魅力的女人也休想一辈子拴住男人的心。也许，祖父更毒的想法只有一个：让祖母守活寡。每当黑夜来临，窗户上的那银白色的月光投射到祖父身上的时候，祖父躺在宽大的土炕上眼睁睁地看着屋顶，他可能不服老，也不服输。躺在他身边的不是漂亮的祖母，而是他的阴影，更确切地说，是他阴暗的心理。而在几年前，或者十几年前，月光首先窥视到的是躺在他身旁的祖母，月亮给房间里增添的是一片不无淫荡的温情。而现在的月光是孤独而冰凉的。祖父承受着宁静的同时，也承受着由绝望而生的悲伤。我猜测，他可能这么想，我战胜不过你，也要拖住你。女人昔日给祖父带来的满足和自豪变成了诅咒和仇恨。祖父不敢面对自己的逐渐衰老，也就不能面对祖母的年轻。祖父就没有想到，女人不是插在花瓶里的花，即使是花瓶中的花也需要伺弄的。祖父不这么看待，似乎是祖母故意用她的丰满，妩媚来对抗他的干瘦、无情。老夫少妻变成了对手，默默地、无声地对抗着。
协助祖母伺弄土地的是应该被我叫做伯父的罗世堂。这个伯父是祖父领养的，他进罗家大门时已经十三岁了。罗世堂本来姓牛，是凤山县牛家庄人，进了罗家门，就改姓罗了。祖父当时怎么也想不到，有朝一日这个非亲嗣子会成为父亲罗世俊的死对头。在父亲看来，由于罗世堂昧了良心，做了伪证，罗家的体面祖母的体面以及父亲的体面被扫荡殆尽了。父亲由人民变成了阶级敌人，伯父免去了一场灾难。其实，让罗家受难的责任不在罗世堂身上。
那时候，祖父将一个异姓人领进家门作为嗣子，对此，松陵村人百思不解。当时，父亲已经七岁了，罗家并不是没有人续香火。祖父为什么要做出这样的事情？几十年后，伯父罗世堂说，祖父领养他不是为了叫他做儿子，而是为了叫他做长工。伯父是给社教工作组的卫明哲和大队书记史天才就这么说的。我是看见了的，眼见为实。
我知道，在松陵村人眼里，祖父一生有几个怪举动，这其中，也包括将祖母马闹娃从河南领到陕西来。
那时候，祖父已经是小有名气的中医了。祖父是继承了曾祖的衣钵从少年时就开始习医的，曾祖当年是凤山县颇有名气的中医。年轻时的祖父本来在凤山县城里做坐堂医生。这是一个安安稳稳的行当。那一年，凤山县城里驻扎了军阀麻正林的军队。麻正林得了一种怪病，他一看见年轻漂亮的女人还未及上手就不停地打嗝，而且从嘴里喷出来的气味臭不可闻。麻正林看遍了关中西府的所有名医也不见效。他抱着试一试的态度将祖父叫去了，祖父只给他吃了一剂药就止住了打嗝。后来，麻正林要驻防河南，临走时，非要带上祖父不可。祖父迫于无奈，就跟着麻正林到了洛阳。到了洛阳之后，祖父在洛阳城里开了一个小诊所。祖父的诊所在布匹商马大奎的隔壁。那时候，马大奎的女儿马闹娃还在读小学。

Introduction

我是1983年在《延河》杂志第五期发表处女作短篇小说《续绳》的。手中的这支笔如同卡夫卡笔下的那只能飞的“桶”，我骑着它不知不觉把三十年的时光耗尽了。一个满头乌发、步健神奕的小伙子被文字排列组合成弯腰曲背、满脸皱纹的半老头子了。为此，我并不遗憾，因为我的身后有用自己的文字砌起来的一级一级的台阶，台阶上坐着的有紧张、不安、焦虑和痛苦，也有短暂的安慰、欣慰、幸运和愉快。我不止一次地、由衷地喟叹过，我是一个惨败者。这种很悲观的情绪影子一般伴随了我大半生。令我自豪的是，我将自己的健康、激情、尊严，乃至生命中最灿烂的部分付给了我所追求的文学事业；令我自豪的是，我和我笔下的各色人等生活了三十年，他们有各自的面目，各自的性格，各自的神态。
我的全部愿望就是：用自己的一支笔把人物固定在纸上，等我死去之后，我的人物还活在读者心中，那时候，我的灵魂也能安宁了。
对于一个作家来说，艺术探索是一件艰难而又需要拿出勇气的事情。跟在别人后面走固然轻松，但留下的脚印如同枯枝败叶，风一吹，就没有了。我的小说从一开初就没有固定在一个模式上。也许，读者从我结集的作品中能看出其中的变化和差异。
十年前，我就渴望自己的作品能够结集出版。现在，这个愿望终于实现了。这里结集的作品不仅记录了我的创作历程，也同时记录着我的情感历程、生活历程和生命历程。结集出版作品，无疑是对自己的一个阶段性总结。我毫不脸红地承认，自己成熟的过程也是对原始的冲动削减的过程，是自己的勇气被功利掩埋的过程。因此，我觉得，一个好的作家一生都要对自己有所警惕。
就结集的文字来说不算少了。可是，面对浩瀚的世界文学，面对诸多的文学大师，我真的缺少成就感。我只能无奈地说，我这样写了，我这样写过，而且，还将继续写下去。
在此，我真诚地感谢文化艺术出版社为我编辑这部文集的朋友们。没有他们的慧眼和劳动，我的作品就不可能以这样的方式与读者见面。
