《陆天明经典作品集：桑那高地的太阳》写的是二十世纪六十年代中期，一群去开拓西部边疆的上海知青的命运，以及先他们而到的复转军人、支边的中原地区农民以及刑满释放的“新生儿”等形形色色的西部开拓者的命运。出现在小说中的上海知识青年，是到桑那高地的四千七百九十五个被叫作“上海鸭子”的知识青年中很有代表性的几个，是六十年代从东海之滨涌向西部边疆的知青洪流中的几滴水。

Author Description

陆天明，男，祖籍江苏海门，生于昆明，长在上海。中共党员。两次上山下乡，曾在安徽农村当过农民、小学教师，后又到新疆生产建设兵团当过农工、武装连代理指导员、师军务科参谋、农场机关干部，后奉调北京，长期供职于中央电视台电视剧制作中心。中国作协第五届全委会委员，第六、七届主席团委员。国家一级编剧。享受政府特殊津贴。1957年开始发表作品。1984年加入中国作家协会。主要作品有长篇小说《桑那高地的太阳》、《泥日》、《木凸》、《苍天在上》、《大雪无痕》、《省委书记》、《黑雀群》、《高纬度战栗》，中篇小说集《啊，野麻花》，电影剧本《走出地平线》，话剧剧本《扬帆万里》、《第十七棵黑杨》，电视剧剧本《华罗庚》、《上将许世友》、《阎宝航》、《冻土带》等，与小说同期创作的同名长篇电视连续剧《苍天在上》、《大雪无痕》、《省委书记》播出后，均在国内外引起强烈反响。长篇小说《大雪无痕》获国家图书奖。本人曾获中国百佳电视艺术工作者、全国最佳编剧等称号，并在2003年获中国电视艺术家协会颁发的金鹰突出成就奖。中国作家协会主席团成员，中国戏剧家协会会员。中国电视艺术家协会会员，国家一级编剧。

“这也是党委的意思。我没理解错吧？”陈助理员捧着茶杯，只是笑了笑，没说是，也没说不是。谢平的心怦怦地猛跳起来。三个人谈？什么事？协理员在捅炉子。他是个坐不住的人。五十来岁，从早到晚，忙忙叨叨。过一会儿，他又在打量主任这屋的窗框了。他觉得该通知基建队派人来油油它了。为了证实这个判断，他还探身去抠了抠窗框皮。
“听反映，你要召集全场青年班的班长开会？”主任和煦地问道。
“开会？”谢平一时还没转过弯来，便反问道。
“你不是已经通知下去，要各青年班班长准备情况，向你汇报吗？”陈助理员扶起靠在椅背上的身子，向谢平前倾着，探问。语调到这会儿，还是温和的。
“向我汇报？谁说的？只是一起斗斗情况，碰个头，说聚会可以，但不是开会……”谢平解释。
“不要抠字眼了。你们这些学生出身的小年轻。聚会和开会，死抠啥嘛？”协理员直爽。他使劲晃了晃窗框，掉下些腻子块。
“跟各连指导员打招呼了吗？”主任耐心地问。“老同学见见面，也要打招呼？”谢平嘴里在辩解，心里已经意识到问题严重了。他们断定他在从事“非组织”活动！
“是见见面吗？”
“确实的。大家感到青年中有些情绪波动，想主动做点工作……”
“想主动做工作，这很好，但要事先打招呼。党团工作，一直是陈助理员分工在抓。你跟他打了招呼吗？你喝茶嘛。”主任指指那杯煮浓了的茶末。
“我想我们只是碰碰头……”谢平结巴了。
“你怎么还转不过弯来？”协理员火了。棉袄从他肩上掉了下来。
“这么说，我们让你打招呼，是错了？”陈助理员问，“你已经到了农场。你以为你还是什么中队长、什么街道团委副书记？你就可以不要接受农场组织的领导？你就可以不打招呼，想做什么就做什么？

做作家，是幼时的梦想。没人教过我做这样的梦，也没人唆使我去做这样的梦，但，真的，七八岁时，就向往当一个作家。现在想想，确有一点莫名其妙。但也真的就这么背着做作家的冲动和梦想，一直活了过来。到什／z，时候才认真想过，怎么才算是一个称职的作家？好像至今也没腾出一块正经的时间来做这样的考量和盘算。没有去盘算，大概的原因可能是因了一直认为自己在作家圈里就算是个称职的家伙吧。现在想想，也确有点可笑：凭什么你就把自己这么个长得有点疙里疙瘩的“大土豆”放进了“称职”这个筐筐里去了呢？我并非不知道这二三十年中国文坛上新潮风起，异议并列，大小圈子各施拳脚，勇争前茅。但我总在想，做文学无非三点：一，走自己的路，让别人说去。最后必定还是要由历史和人民来断是非、黑白、优劣的。二，活着是为了要思想。这是十九世纪法国文学理论家泰纳的一句名言。我始终奉为写作生涯的金科玉律。三，每每剖开自己写过的文字，里头都应有血流出来。这其实是改过了爱默生的一句名言放在自己书桌上的。他的原话是：“剖开这些字，会有血流出来，那是有血管的活体。，’是的，无论怎样，把文字和文学做成“有血管的活体”，做成一个有“思想”的生灵，坚持发出自己独到的声音和见解，绝不屈服于各种诱惑和嘲弄，或胁迫。
现在，安徽文艺出版社要把我几十年来写下的长篇小说择其“精要”汇成一个集子，惶恐、感激之余，只能请诸位读者朋友试试，在这些文字里到底能剖出鲜红、灼热的血来吗？
