绝句·春雨
春雨楼头尺八箫，何时归看浙江湖。
芒鞋破钵无人识，踏过樱花第几桥。
接触苏曼殊很偶然，就像那曰走过樱花树下，在风吹过的瞬间，他落花飘零一般，悄无声启、地落进我的眼帘，没有灯火阑珊的映照，却有着似曾相识的绚烂。
佛说：世间的每一次相遇都是一种缘分。他却说：雨笠烟蓑归去也，与人无爱亦无嗔。不知百年之前的他是否真的这么洒脱，强烈的好奇心，促使我沿着时光的河流，逆流而上，穿越到那个分崩离乱的时代，寻觅他的足迹，触摸他的传奇。
在那个动荡不安的时代里，他的确是一个不可复制的传奇。他怪诞，两服洋装却吃斋念佛，袈裟披身却眠花宿柳；他疯癫，可以无端狂笑无端哭，万千衷肠揉做冰；他多情，可以偷尝天女唇中露，几度临风拭泪痕；他决绝，可以易水萧萧人去也，任他明月白如霜。进步人士赞扬他，叫他兵火头陀、革命和尚；文学青年追捧他，说他是情怀浪漫的情僧、诗僧；但也有人恶意贬低他、诋毁他，说他是风流和尚、人间祸害、时代怪胎……
然而，无论世人怎样评价，都已与他无关。生前，他不屑于这些评价，死后，若有魂灵，想必也不会计较太多。他只是安静地酣睡在两湖边，断桥畔，孤坟一座，石碑一块，与苏州名妓苏小小的墓穴，两两相望，毗邻而居，共同守望中华神州的百年沧桑．
现代人对于“苏曼殊”这三个字，可能已经生疏了。但是上推到二十世纪初期，这三个字却是一个光闪闪的印记，标志着那个时期文学、绘画、佛学、翻译等几大领域内的卓越成就，苏曼殊就是那个时代的领军人物。他才华横溢不居人后，就连死亡这种大事，他都愿意跑到人家前面，成为大妒英才的另一个注释。
1884年9月28日到1918年5月2日，在历史的记忆中，只是短短…瞬，但对于苏曼殊而言，却已是人生的全部。
纵观苏曼殊三十五年的红尘游历，拨开环绕在他身上的层层光环或迷雾，你会发现后人对他的评价都对，都有道理，但又都不全对。因为他们皆是站在自己的立场上，出于不同的目的与角度，指指点点。可又有谁曾经真正地深入苏曼殊的灵魂，倾听他内心深处的语言？
那个隐匿在内心世界里的苏曼殊，才是最真实的苏曼殊。而我现在最想做的事，就是穿越这百年的时光沉疴，涉水彼岸，抵达那个沉寂已久的灵魂深处，将那些不为人知的意念挖掘出来，艺术重现，还原他最初的真实面貌。哲人周围平说，世间的相遇决定了人的阅历与高度，与一个已故灵魂的相遇，虽然虚幻，但交汇的瞬间，却会进发出光芒。
智慧的交锋，照亮的是两个人的人生，我和他，皆如是。
一个人的内心世界总是错综复杂的，如吲电脑配置里的CPU，高速运转的瞬间，就可以沧桑巨变。因此，要解读另一颗灵魂的生命密码，绝非易事。剖开纷纭的世相，我们总能找到一切存在之所以存在的理由，并合理阐述。
苏曼殊的一生，虽然短暂，但是很耀眼。世人给予他的种种评价，我不想再罗列。我想说的是另外一个：苏曼殊活着的时候，未必给自己设下过那么多的目标，想着自己有一天，成为世人眼里的“明星”。他也不像现在的孩子，还没出生，父母就已打造好各种头衔，等着他日后一摘取。
现在的人，大都活得精明而通透，功利而浮躁。当人类的欲望被空前激活，其劣根性也就开始慢慢凸显，如迎风而舞的春草，一丝撼动，便是前赴后继的奔赴，而且不遗余力。
人活于世，名利财富，都是浮云。娇憨痴缠，亦是虚妄。生命的本真，不在于你掠夺了多少外在的物质，而在于自己是否活得真实。苏曼殊，就是一个很真实的人。他的真实，自由而任性，孤傲也决绝。他从不在意别人的言论，他只做他自己，独一无二的自己。
我们都无法选择自己生活的时代，就像那随风飘荡的蒲公英种子，无法掌控自己最后落地生根的去处。我们能做的，就是正确地认识和面对自己所处的那个时代，适应它，或者改变它。
苏曼殊生活在清末民国初，那是中国历史上一段黑暗的时期，各种社会矛盾高度集中与激化，稍有触动，便是天崩地裂般地塌陷。那样的社会背景，对民众精神意识的打压与戕害是空前的。苏曼殊的悲苦人生，究其根源，也是旧时知识分子与离乱时代斗争的一个缩影。
弗洛伊德说：性格决定命运。苏曼殊的悲剧，是个人的悲剧性格造成的，但这种悲剧性格，却是时代悲剧的产物。如果命运可以选择的话，我想苏曼殊一定不会选择生存在那样一个民不聊生、水深火热的年代，他宁可不要辉煌的成就与名头，而只是一个拥有世俗幸福的普通男子。
他的悲剧，在他出生的那一刻就已注定。这要怪他父亲苏杰生的风流多情。1939年，柳亚子编订的《曼殊全集》里，曾对苏曼殊的身世、血统做过周密的考证，后来又被很多传记作者演绎，但意见大体是一致的，那就是苏曼殊的父亲是赴日商人苏杰生，母亲若子是日本人，即苏杰生日本妾氏河合仙之妹。
那个苏杰生，我想应是一个极精明的生意人。他年轻时横渡日本，人又长得英俊潇洒，在横滨开办了万降茶行，把生意做得水生风起、蒸蒸日上，让苏家的名望日日繁荣。当然，一起繁荣的还有他拈花惹草的习性。尽管他那时已经有了正室黄氏、大陈氏和河合仙一中一日两位妾氏，但是男人对女人的占有欲真应了“欲壑难平”的说法，此说法古今基本一致。
目前的资料无法具体考证苏杰生与若子的这段不伦之恋是怎么开始的，但想来也逃不出通俗爱情段子的翻版。苏杰生在看到年轻貌美的若子后，春心荡漾，于是使劲浑身解数去诱惑她，打动她。年幼的若子，面对苏杰生的火热追求，半推半就之中，被自己的姐夫金屋藏娇，还稀里糊涂地为他生下一子，取名三郎，即后来的苏曼殊。
古往今来，人们对很多事情的看法，都是与时俱进不断变化的。但唯独对“私生子”的看法，似乎古今并无太大变化，总是啬头草一边倒的鄙视。所以，苏曼殊对自己的这种身世是忌与人言的。每当有人问及，他总以“思维身世，有难言之恫”、“每一念及，伤心至极”等搪塞而过。
想来苏曼殊的朋友们对他的很多经历是怀有同情之心的，所以，每次见苏曼殊伤心，他们就不再深问了。
因为苏曼殊很少谈及自己的身世，朋友们泛滥的同情心便无法深问，这就使得苏曼殊的身世扑朔迷离，也险些让柳亚子父子犯了历史性的错误。
那是1928年，柳亚子在整理出版苏曼殊文集第一版时，错把苏曼殊的《潮音跋》看做他的自传，认为他的父母都是日本人，并把他的幼年经历与学历也搞错了。幸好凡事都是清者自清，这个错误，终于在柳亚子父子反复考证下，得以纠正，没有一再错下去。否则，又会是重大的历史悬疑案了。
苏曼殊出生后的前三个月，还是平安无事的。母子俩还是继续安心地被苏杰生收藏着。但纸里包不住火，苏曼殊三个月的时候，这段不伦之恋还是被发现了。至于是怎么被发现的，后世为苏曼殊做传记的作者们演绎了很多版本。其中最经典的，当属涂国文先生《苏曼殊情传》中的桥段：说是苏杰生带河合若母子出门游园，被苏杰生的大妾大陈氏发现了，然后就引发了一场轩然大波。
生性温良的若子与姐姐河合仙显然不是大陈氏的对手，几个回合下来，若子低头认输，舍下三个月的幼子，远走他乡，不知所踪。生母离开之后，养育苏曼殊的任务自然就落在了河合仙身上。尽管妹妹与丈夫的事让河合仙也很受伤，但这个善良的女人，还是忍痛接受了命运的捉弄，主动承担了这件事的所有恶果。
