王愿坚，中国当代著名小说家、剧作家。1945年参加八路军。曾任报社编辑、记者，后来又担任过八一电影制片厂编剧、文学部主任，解放军艺术学院文学美术系主任等职。短篇小说名作有《党费》《粮食的故事》《妈妈》《七根火柴》《小游击队员》《普通劳动者》等。电影剧作有《四渡赤水》《映山红》以及与陆柱国合作改编的《闪闪的红星》等。
