Author Description

第一章 控制的概念
控制理论
控制是健康心理学的重要概念，大量运用在压力、应对和适应、健康促进、健康教育、急慢性病护理与恢复、残疾与晚期疾病等领域。此外，在处理健康护理情景中病人与健康护理专业人员或护理者之间的关系时，控制的概念也具有重要意义。
控制主要指获得所期望的结果，用系统论的语言来描述的话，控制就是获得系统目标或“参照标准（reference criterion）”（Hyland，1987）。所期望的结果包括保障个体及其物种生存、保证个体健康及其幸福，以及满足其文化的、意识形态的、社会的和物质的要求。通常，控制这个术语指的既是过程（获得的过程）也是结果。
虽然“控制”经常用来指个人控制，但本书后面将会阐述如何通过自己或他人的活动，甚至是通过对外部力量的信念来获取控制。在有关健康的情景中，“他人”可能包括家庭、亲戚、朋友、医生和其他专业人员，以及雇主和提供，支持的机构。控制通常与积极结果和适应相联系，但在某些情况下，控制可能’与偏离结果或适应不良有关。而适应或适应不良的结果划分可能取决于行动者和观察者不同的观察视角。
