Book Abstract

当连续乐音经过一个周波的不同阶段到达双耳时，声音在两耳间就产生了相位差。它是双耳时间差的一种表现，其大小受方向角的影响。相位差随频率而增加，当频率加大时波长变短，波前到达远耳的是一个周波更后面的部分。如果声源在耳的一侧，声音的波长等于两耳间的距离，相位差等于360°，两耳的相位相同，则相位的线索受到破坏。1500~的波长恰与两耳之间的声学距离（23厘米）相等（34400厘米/1500=22.9厘米，近似为23厘米），因此声源在一侧就容易产生判断上的错误，在室外和消声室的纯音实验都证实了这一点。相位差异对于长波来说是方向定位的一个重要线索。由于相位差依赖于声波的方向和波长两个因素，因此它不能成为独立的听觉方向定位标志。
4.视觉对听觉方位判断的影响
当能看到声源时，尽管这个声源是虚假的，一般在20°以内，往往使人们判断声音是从假声源发出的。这说明视觉刺激与声源之间巩固的条件联系的影响，可以使人们在双耳听觉标志存在的条件下产生对声音定位的错误判断。例如电影院放映电影的音响一般是银幕两侧，但观众所听到的声音都是从银幕上人物的口中发出来的。因此，在进行听觉方向定位的实验时，应使被试不能见到声源，也就是要排除视觉的作用。
二、听觉空间方向定位的实验方法
1.条件的控制
在日常听觉中，各种双耳差异是同时起作用的。如果声音在左侧，声音先到达左耳，后到达右耳，左耳接受的声波强度要比右耳的强度大些，声音的位相也不同，而且左耳的陪音要比右耳的陪音更丰富-些，音色上有差别。在这些线索同时起作用的情况下，不能分辨究竟哪些因素是主要因素。如果研究某一线索的作用，就必须在实验中使其它因素保持恒定，再来研究另一因素的、作用。如强度相同可研究时间差异，时间一定时可研究强度差异。但这样做又使用了互相矛盾的线索，因为强度一定，就是说声源在中切面上，而时间先后又告诉人们声源是偏向某一侧。在实验中，这类问题就要看被试是依从哪个线索为主进行判断了。
2.使用的仪器与方法
双耳方向定位线索的实验一般都采用两耳分别给予刺激的方法，称作“两耳分开技术”或叫“两耳分听”。早期实验中使用类似听诊器的仪器，把小管子插到被试的外耳道中，最后将两根连成一根，开口接近声源。如果两根小管的长度不同，就得到时间差异，如果闭塞一根就是单听；如果部分地闭塞一根就得到强度不同。这种方法在早期的实验中广为应用，至今仍有优点：做实验的学生能容易的懂得他在如何处理声源。
现代这类电话式的两耳分听实验仪器是使用两个耳机，各有分开的线路，线路中有放大器和衰减器来控制强度，两耳的声源是一个能产生多种频率的振荡器，声源的组成、陪音的结构等都可以控制。如果需要，两耳还可以分别给予不同声波的刺激，两耳接受刺激的时间也可以得到控制等等。问题的关键在于这种分开实验必须要选择两个同质的耳机才行。
