Author Description

M. 查特尼克（Morton Chethik）是美国长年从事儿童心理咨询工作的临床专家，是美国密西根大学精神病学系教授。他撰写的本书第一版在美国及全球有很大影响，这里翻译的是他进一步补充了实例后的第二版，因此更臻成熟和完善。

临床资料

马克在治疗早期的极端行为表现出他男人的融合恐惧，但是慢慢地某个主题就变得清晰可辨易于处理了。在治疗时间里他对治疗室和治疗师感到恐慌，害怕与母亲分开。通过他的行为而不是他的言语，马克表现出他害怕吊灯、害怕隔音壁上的孔、害怕壁橱及壁橱门。治疗师和马克玩起了充满活力的游戏。这是一个关键点，治疗师将马克所表现出的害怕转入游戏形式。治疗师宣布一个游戏名叫“刑罚室”，这描述出马克对治疗室的畏惧。将壁橱当作“刑罚室”，通过介绍，马克进入了游戏。他或治疗师被关了好几天。他们挨了打或挨了饿，或是无水可喝。马克哭喊着。只有当游戏重复了许多次之后，直接的言语才有意义。那时治疗师才能够宣布：“如果你认为在这儿可能发生那些可怕的情况，你又踢又打就并不奇怪了。”

转而，马克决定玩“起居室”游戏。他敲门进人“起居室”，而不是治疗室。他很舒服地坐下，要食品和牛奶，治疗师在游戏中给了他。治疗室变成了家，治疗师成了给予的母亲，马克因害怕分离引发了这个游戏。

经过一个月的治疗，马克使用了更多的游戏。主题常常是危险、攻击、反击和胜利。例如，枕头成了怪物，猛一下扑到他身上。起初他被打倒了，但是接下来他自己变成一个狂啸的怪兽，打败了对手。而且，他会继续作怪兽去搜寻家具或治疗师。治疗师开始将马克咆啸的失控的性格成分定名为“狮子部分”。“当你害怕时，你就变成了狮子。”“那儿，我们又看到了狮子。…‘马克的狮子部分给马克带来了多少麻烦？”“他从来不知道狮子将会干什么——它会怎么样突然出现。”马克的行为常常很冲动。有一天他把他喜欢的一个蚀刻绘画玩具摔得粉碎，这个玩具是他对自己的设计成果感到很得意而拿给治疗师看的。治疗师确认每当狮子爆发后马克自己都会感到震惊和诧异。“接下来马克会发生什么呢？”治疗师和马克一同思量这个问题。

马克的狮子部分并不在意警告和安全的一般规则，有着鲁莽的特质。马克拿了一只“大力鼠”玩偶到治疗室，他说这只大力鼠陪他睡觉。在这个咨询时间里，大力鼠很危险地卧在窗台边上，在马克的帮助下摇摇摆摆掉进下面的深渊。或者大力鼠被放置在游戏桌的最顶端，风把它吹下来，掉向下面山谷的大石头，但是最后时刻，大力鼠却安然无恙地飞走了——它是不会被伤害的。

马克的常见行为中有一个问题就是他有着游戏危险的需要。他的母亲报告说他在大街上全速骑他的两轮车，一点儿也不顾及汽车。这个鲁莽的孩子这样在交通繁杂的地段穿行过好几次。一天，治疗师接到电话说马克在雨中爬到了一个有着很陡斜坡的房顶上。起初，治疗师曾用平静而严肃的口吻谈起这些事件，马克做出一副很自信的样子。但是这次房顶事件使得治疗师警告马克他性格中的狮子部分有一天会把他带得太远，会发生一些事情使他再也难以改变，再也无法弥补。马克这才流露出强烈的害怕反应。他突然精疲力竭，躺在沙发上吸吮手指，摸耳朵，摆弄“鸡鸡”。他告诉治疗师他可能要倒下死掉了。

马克的狮子部分逐渐变得更自我异质性了。在一次咨询时，与治疗师进行了激烈的争论之后，马克开始思索。他告诉治疗师他很难做好了。治疗师对马克承认这是一个问题，但是他觉得自己能够帮助马克。马克开始吐露心声，这些内容曾在他们的游戏中有所表现。他告诉治疗师有一个男孩名叫加里，不是马克，他很野蛮但是害怕鬼。马克在治疗室制造“夜晚”（让房间暗下来），重现了一些情景。一个强盗来偷钱，加里很害怕。甚至当这个强盗被关进了监狱，他还会逃出来惊吓这个孩子。治疗师提示马克是他自己每天晚上都很害怕，好像有很多噩梦，马克想知道治疗师能不能“把它们赶走”。

另外，马克开始检查身体各部分受的伤，并承认对打碎了东西感到不安。污染的问题也显露出来。一天治疗师和马克做火车旅行的游戏（两个椅子摆在一起），马克突然从裤子里制造“污物”（“doo”）。他拿出假想的“污物”，把它扔到治疗师脸上，说治疗师恶心以至于自己不能看他。治疗师提醒马克如果他时常在课堂里“制造污物”，那是让人很难忍受的。马克很悲哀地说他在班里的绰号是“内裤”，“你知道这是什么意思——肮脏的内裤。”
