《科学人文系列：一点就通的人格心理学》从一个独特的角度对人类思维进行了解读，认为人类思维是由三个内力和一个外力共同作用的，创造性地提出了“思维惯性力”、“思维阻尼力”、“思维复原力”、“思维的外界扰动力”等概念，建立了人类思维的数学模型，即：思维惯性力十思维阻尼力十思维复原力一外界扰动力。对于这一模型，作者通过大量的实例进行了论证和说明，并在此基础上探讨了什么是人格、什么是幸福、婚姻为什么会破裂、教育失败的原因是什么等问题，同时也向西方人格心理学的主流学派及代表理论提出了质疑。作为从事船舶及海洋工程水动力学研究多年的教授，作者借他山之石独辟蹊径，提出的这一数学模型对人格心理学、教育心理学、社会心理学、医学心理学的研究具有很高的参考价值。

Author Description

戚心源，船舶及海洋工程水动力学教授（已退休）。1937年生于吉林市，1962年毕业于上海交通大学造船系。
退休前从事船舶、电子通信、海洋工程等专业研究35年，曾任中国造船学会近海工程学术委员会副主任委员、中国海洋学会近海工程学术委员会委员、无锡市政协委员等职，1995年获国务院政府津贴，2003年获英国剑桥国际名人传记中心颁发的终身科学成就奖，表彰其在海洋工程水动力学领域的贡献。
退休后从事金融工程学、西方心理学、政治学、社会学、精神病学、易经预测学、科普等领域的研究和工作。近年先后发表过多篇政治学、社会学、心理学论文，创作过诗歌《退休颂》，该诗歌获上海市2007年市民诗歌大赛最佳作品奖，其音乐作品《我是那藤》（合著）获2011年文化部全国原创歌曲大赛三等奖。

Book Abstract

尽管群体的人格比较复杂，但复杂并不等于神秘，也不等于不可思议。响应因人而异，致使人们的人格各异，但不能由此就匆匆得出结论，认为人类群体不存在统一的规律。笔者认为尽管每个人人格各异，但他们都有食欲、性欲、金钱欲、指挥欲、表现欲等，他们的这些欲念只有程度的差异，并没有本质上的区别。每个人都有道德、法律、人性、爱心、人生观、价值观、世界观等所构筑的思维阻尼力，对每个个体而言，他们的思维阻尼力不同，甚至千差万别。每个人内在的思维复原力也各不相同，尽管个体内在思维力存在程度上的差异，但并不会影响“每个人在外界环境力的作用下都必然会产生响应”这一规律。而本文提出的数学模型旨在探索人类思维的共同规律，奥尔波特以人格的差异否定人类思维的共性，从而否定人格所遵循统一的规律是错误的。
奥尔波特整个学术生涯都是在哈佛大学度过的，他被誉为心理学大师，他的学术思想在西方广为流传，对任何大师，我们都必须持有两种态度：一是要尊重，二是不要迷信，对奥尔波特.亦是如此。奥尔波特断言，作为人类群体，思维没有共同规律可言，其实并不是人类思维没有共同规律，而是在他有限的生命中，还没有发现共同的规律。奥尔波特忽略了一个重要的事实，这就是任何一个人的智慧都不能，也无法取代全人类的智慧，科学永远在不停地发展，历史不会止步不前。半个多世纪以前，人们普遍认为海浪此起彼伏，杂乱无章，毫无规律可言，即使给你一生的时间，你也无法找到两条完全相同的海浪记录曲线。

Introduction

笔者年逾古稀，风风雨雨中走过了人生大半旅程。一个偶然的机会，笔者在一本霍尔所著的《弗洛伊德心理学入门》的书中读到这样一段话：“由于弗洛伊德的独特天赋能力，他注定要在20年后发现动力学规律不仅适合于人的躯体，同样也适用于他的人格。发现这点后，他就立即着手创建动力心理学（dynamic psychology），研究人格中能量的转换和改变。这就是弗洛伊德的最大功绩，是现代科学最伟大的成就之一。”霍尔文中的“动力心理学”五个字令从事动力学研究数十年的笔者久久不能平静，便认真地拜读了霍尔的这部名著。读后写下了感想：笔者以为，思维是一种运动，一种不规则运动，运动取决于力——是力，而不是能量；思维是在外力作用下的各种思维内力联合作用的一种结果。既然思维是一种运动，那么就一定存在一种可以描述它的数学模型。对于任何一个看似复杂的现象，若能建立起数学模型，便可以对这种复杂的现象予以诠释，这在工程界已是不争的事实。于是便着手探索人类思维的数学模型，并写下了笔者有关思维的第一篇文章《人类思维的数学模型及系统响应》，后来将此文纳入我的一本书《给上帝发个E-MAIL》的最后一章中，该书于2005年1月由吉林人民出版社出版。
