在回答记者提问时，她常常下意识地随手翻起这本书。似乎记者想了解的一切在这本书中都能找到答案。屠呦呦用这本书与世界对话，这本书用一棵小草与世界对话，这棵小草用生命与世界对话。

《青蒿及青蒿素类药物》是部系统阐述青蒿素的发现和发展历程的专著。全书共分四篇二十六章，分别为“青蒿”、“青蒿素”、“双氢青蒿素”及“其他青蒿素类药物研究进展”。从青蒿的本源，青蒿素的原创发明，其个衍生物——双氢青蒿素的创制及其后的青蒿素类药物研究系统论述。旨在明确表达青蒿素的发现和发展历程。本书由主要发明者及其研究团队的一些成员所编写，具有较高的学术价值，可供医药工作者和从事创新性研究的其他领域的学者参考。

Author Description

屠呦呦，女，2015年诺贝尔生理学或医学奖获得者。中国中医科学院终身研究员兼首席研究员，博士生导师，被英国伦敦中医学院聘为名誉研究教授。1930年12月30日出生，浙江省宁波市人。1955年毕业于北京医学院药学系（今北京大学药学院）。同年到新建的卫生部中医研究院中药研究所工作。曾脱产两年半在卫生部“西医离职学习中医班”系统学习中医药知识。以后一直献身于用现代科学结合传统医药的研究事业。现任中国中医科学院青蒿素研究中心主任，中国中医科学院学术委员会委员，中国发明协会全国理事会理事，《中国中药杂志》编委等。
