摄影的本质是什么？正如一万个人眼中有一万个哈姆雷特一样，答案可能会林林总总。但我想，对于绝大多数的摄影爱好者而言，摄影的本质就是发现平凡中的美丽。发现平凡之美，不仅可以培养你发现美、定格美的能力，也是引导大家热爱生活、享受生活的很好的方法。

世界著名的雕塑家、美学家罗丹说：“生活中不是缺少美，而是缺少发现美的眼睛。”这句话我们烂熟于心，却又仅仅是烂熟于心。因为我们缺少一双“慧眼”，不知如何去观察和发现，往往与生活中的美丽擦肩而过却浑然不知。这实在是一件很令人遗憾的事情。

摄影是充满幸福感的事情，发现生活中的平凡之美是摄影的真谛所在。可是，很多热爱摄影的朋友问我，为什么我拍的照片总是那么普通，我用的是单反相机，还是全画幅的，也配上了红圈镜头、金圈镜头，为什么我就是拍不出动人的照片。我总是心平气和地解释道：“不是因为你的相机不好，而是因为你还没有静下来心来去观察生活、感悟生活、热爱生活、刻画生活。归根到底，你缺少一双发现美的‘慧眼’。”

众所周知，一流的摄影靠艺术、二流的摄影靠技术、三流的摄影靠器材。只要我们拥有一双善于发现美的“慧眼”，无论你使用什么样的摄影器材，都能拍出精彩的照片。

摄影需要技术，但更需要艺术。如果仅仅技艺精湛，只是对感光度、光圈、快门等了然于心，却独独少了一颗热爱美的心灵和发现美的眼睛，那么你的照片就不会拥有灵魂，而仅仅是一堆杂乱光线的集合罢了。日本著名的作家池田大作说：“我的每一个文字下面，就系着一颗心。”同样，对于一个真正的摄影师而言，他的每一幅照片里面，也必然隐藏着他的灵魂。这个灵魂可以是奔放的，也可以是纯真的，还可以是孤独的。不管怎样，只要照片有了灵魂，那么自然可以感动大家的心灵。

发现平凡中的美丽，需要我们培养一双“慧眼”。这双“慧眼”能够帮助你在繁杂的环境中提取美，能够帮助你熟练地掌握用光线作画的诀窍，能够帮助你发现色彩的魅力，能够帮助你找到令人耳目一新的画面构图。

为了帮助大家培养一双“慧眼”，我和朋友们耗费了3年时光，写了这样一本书。在这本书中，我们将分30个章节，以照片为例向大家介绍发现平凡中的美丽的心得和经验，帮助大家打造一双发现美、刻画美的犀利的“摄影师之眼”。

《摄影本质：捕捉平凡中的惊喜（全彩）》中的相机种类很多，既有尼康D700、D300S这样的专业单反相机，也有尼康D80这样的中低档次的单反相机，还有理光GR、索尼RX100、佳能G7X等小型数码相机，此外我还把一部分用诺基亚920手机和小米手机拍摄的照片引入书中。之所以采用如此多的器材，就是告诉大家，制造美丽的画面，器材永远是第二位的。决定画面的关键因素，还是相机背后的那双“慧眼”。
